Kyocera Wireless was looking for a solution to replace its manual process for planning and forecasting, improve accuracy, maintain a better audit trail, generate consistent enterprise-wide reports and spreadsheets, and create one source of data for forecasting and planning.

To address Kyocera’s requirements, BearingPoint deployed the Oracle Demantra Demand Management to help Kyocera better sense, shape and respond to demand. It is reported that the solution’s automated analytics can generate accurate forecasts and turn the forecasts into consensus plans without the need of advanced statistical expertise.

As part of the engagement, BearingPoint also worked with Kyocera to put in place a streamlined user interface, online forecast measurement tools and automated change tracking capabilities.
