This expanded rollout follows an initial deployment of 250 desktops in June 2003, and brings the total number of analysts, associates and bankers using a Thomson Financial desktop solution at Bear Stearns to 600.
All users share a common desktop framework and content mix combined with a configured desktop that provides workflow tools and functionality for both junior and senior bankers. The desktop allows clients to combine Thomson and third-party resources with their own data and applications. When configured for investment banking, Thomson ONE is designed to cater for a broad range of investment banking work, including idea generation and prospecting, valuation and client presentation.
