BEA Systems Inc and New Era of Networks Inc (Neon) have inked a deal that will see Neon supplying software adapters to link BEA’s eLink transaction processing software with companies existing enterprise systems. The company is licensing rules and formatting software from Neon designed to allow companies to translate data to and from a company’s mainframe-based systems and its web front-end. The eLink software is specifically aimed at financial, healthcare, airline and telecoms market. The Neon software will be integrated with eLink by the middle of next year.
