BEA Systems Inc, Sunnyvale, California, says it is now the exclusive developer and distributor of Tuxedo on Unix, Microsoft Windows NT and all non-NetWare systems. Novell Inc will conduct NetWare development. BEA says most of Novell’s Tuxedo employees, development and marketing, have joined the company and BEA has assumed all contracts with Tuxedo partners, distributors and customers. It now has exclusive rights to the Tuxedo trade mark (CI 2839). Joe Menard, vice-president of Novell’s Tuxedo business unit becomes vice-president product of planning and strategy at BEA.
