BE STEVE CASE FOR A DAY? NO THANKS

By CBR Staff Writer

America Online Inc is running a contest intended to help the launch of a new website – designed to provide career counseling to recent graduates – that boasts a rather dubious prize. Some lucky winner will have the chance to be Steve Case for a day. Yes, you can have a crack at being the head of a cash-strapped, money-bleeding company inexplicably obsessed with acquiring another cash-strapped money-bleeding company. We’re not sure how that would feel, but it must come with some kind of existential hangover. Perhaps the next morning you would be enticed to invite all of your friends to come over at the same time, only to realize that your house is too small.
