As one of the most advanced graphic services companies in the world and a leader in the industry of digital imaging, Capps Digital has provided Burnett and non-roster clients with integrated solutions leveraging advanced technology in all areas of graphic art execution. Through strategic partnerships, including work with Adobe, Apple and Kodak, and expertise in print production, the company was an early pioneer of the digital workflow process and media asset management systems.

By expanding Capps Digital’s reach to all entities of Bcom3, we will better serve clients, offering them increased efficiency and cost-savings through technology and innovative digital workflow solutions, said Roger Haupt, chief executive officer of Bcom3. Acquiring full equity in Capps Digital and making it a resource for all of our operating units will further bolster Bcom3’s broad array of marketing services and will seal our position as the leader in the digital graphic services realm.

Rick Capps, 47, chief executive officer of Capps Digital, will lead the company’s expansion, while taking on the new role of executive vice president/director of print development worldwide for Bcom3. Rick has been an integral part of the evolution of the company since 1971, helping it develop from the small boutique art studio his father Bob founded in 1951 to the full-service company Capps Digital is today.

Over the past 50 years, we have serviced top clients and formed strong partnerships with companies including Kodak and Xerox to develop tools that improve the execution of creative ideas and streamline the digital production of materials for our clients, said Capps. Continued investment in Capps Digital will allow us to leverage our learning and expertise globally.

The Capps Digital executive management group consisting of Chief Operating Officer James Haney, 37, Chief Financial Officer Ken Wiesman, 32, and Chief Administrative Officer Rose Leonard, 37, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Capps Digital in Chicago and will report to Rick Capps. Together with their team of directors, they will oversee Capps’ five service units and their integration:
