The B&C Ventures arm of Atlantic Computers’ parent British & Commonwealth Holdings Plc has come to the rescue of ravaged bureau, systems and services company Sherwood Computer Services, agreeing to subscribe for UKP1.5m of convertible preference shares, and shareholders will also be offered a crack at the convertibles via a one-for-five rights issue underwritten by B&C, which is intended to raise UKP2.25m net for the firm.
