Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc reports that it is to buy 1,992,414 shares of its common stock representing 11% – back from Schlumberger NV at $5.00 per share, against a price in the market of $5.125: the purchase is in addition to the previously authorised common stock repurchase programme under which 400,000 may still be bought in by the company.
