BBN Communications Inc, the Boston-based subsidiary of Bolt Beranek and Newman Inc, has won a contract worth over $5m from Houston-based System One Corp, the computerised reservation and passenger handling systems subsidiary of Texas Air Corp: System One is installing a fibre-optic communications network providing speeds of up to 45Mbps, and will use BBN network components to form one of the data subnets.
