Santa Clara, California-based Bay Networks Inc is planning to announce integrated router and frame switching modules for its System 5000 network center hub any day now. It will introduce frame switching modules for Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and FDDI; router modules for running Ethernet, Token Ring and FDDI across the wide area; and modules for integrated Asynchronous Transfer Mode routing. No delivery dates or pricing are available yet.
