Bay expects the new agreement to generate more revenue than its previous multi-million dollar contract announced last year.
Pete Rustan, director of Advanced Systems & Technology at the National Reconnaissance Office, said: Developed in close collaboration with the US government, Bay’s technology should enable future high-speed, secure networks that provide seamless internetworking and management of varying traffic types and data flows within the NRO network and throughout the Department of Defense and civilian network domains.
Bay said it has been delivering full-line rate 10Gbps system software to the US government for over two years, and will continue its Advanced Network Projects for device technology and network element development.
