Bay Networks Inc has announced what it calls its Adaptive Networking strategy – a set of products and technologies to migrate networks to what it calls the optimized IP networks of tomorrow. Under the strategy Bay Networks says it will focus on four cornerstone technologies – switching, access, IP services and network management .
