BASF AG is to dissolve its Informationssysteme GmbH unit after selling a 40% stake in Comparex Informationssysteme AG to South African group Persetel Holdings Pty Ltd. Its head Klaus Deichner, who is also head of BASF Magnetics GmbH, will retire, and Juergen Langheine will succeed Deichner at Magnetics.
