BASF SELLS FLOPPY DISK MEDIA BUSINESS TO RAKS

BASF AG is getting out of the floppy disk media business, selling its entire tape and disk production division to Turkish company RAKS Holding AS for an undisclosed sum. Products manufactured by RAKS will continue to be sold under the BASF name for about five years.
