Barnes & Noble Inc has appointed Jonathan Bulkeley as CEO of barnesandnoble.com, its joint venture with Bertelsmann AG. The venerable bookstore didn’t have to look far to find a new chief for its online division. Bulkeley is presently the managing director of the UK operation of the AOL joint venture with Bertelsmann.
