Banyan Systems is to announce in two weeks the software that ties its StreetTalk naming service with Novell Inc NetWare users: according to PC Week, the company will unwrap Enterprise Network Services for NetWare on September 15 which will enable NetWare users to communicate seamlessly with multiple NetWare and Vines servers; it consists of a modified version of Vines, with file and print services stripped out, that will act as a dedicated server for the StreetTalk directory service; the software includes a NetWare Loadable Module and Value-Added Process for NetWare 386 and 286 servers in addition to Novell’s NetWare client software.
