Using Temenos T24 (T24), the bank can centralize its transaction and reporting operations, including retail, treasury and securities, and trade services along with major interfaces like clearing and Reuters. T24 replaced the not only Bank’s preceding system that was used for 10 years, but also its treasury and trade finance systems. The Bank had considered nine vendors before choosing T24 in December, 2005.
Lionel Dosoo, deputy governor of Bank of Ghana, said: T24 provides us with a centralized system that also has the flexibility to develop products quickly and deliver reports according to our needs. In addition to Temenos’ expertise, we’ve been very impressed by the ease with which T24 can interface with our external applications, such as Reuters.
