BANDAI STRUGGLES TO KEEP UP WITH DEMAND FOR VIRTUAL PET

Sales of Bandai Co’s Tamagotchi virtual pet toy have now hit 10 million, and the company is struggling to keep up with demand. It says that it should have made 20 million shipments by the end of its fiscal year next March. Meanwhile, Angel’s tamagotchi, a character which apparently prays every day, is due to be launched next month.
