According to the agreement, IntraNet will provide its iMTS Remote Payment Initiation and Inquiry (RPI) module to enable First Hawaiian Bank, an operating subsidiary of BancWest, to submit payment instructions through industry standard browsers to its centralized payments department.

BancWest is a wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas, a European banking and financial services firm. It operates in the US through its two major subsidiaries, First Hawaiian Bank and Bank of the West. The former said it chose the RPI platform to replace its homegrown system.

IntraNet said its iMTS product moves money, settles multiple currencies and streamlines operations for banks. The RPI module is designed to increase the flexibility of the iMTS user interface and eliminate the need for software distribution. It also provides delivery to new audiences.
