Banco do Brasil selects Oracle’s Flexcube

i-flex solutions, which is majority owned by Oracle and a provider of technology solutions to financial services industry, has announced that Banco do Brasil has selected Flexcube Universal Banking for its international operations.

i-flex solutions claims that Flexcube will provide the bank, which is present in 23 countries, with a process framework to launch new products across multiple countries. Flexcube will also help the bank provide information to various stakeholders, including local regulators.

Gloria Guimaraes, director of technology at Banco do Brasil, said: Oracle’s Flexcube lets us support our global operations round the clock, as also standardize our business processes globally. Moreover, we can draw upon a repository of documented industry best practices to enhance productivity. With many successful multi-country rollouts, Flexcube was clearly ahead of its competition.
