The arrangement with Reuters is part of Banc of America’s (BAS) Electronic Trading Alliance, a framework in which BAS collaborates with technology vendors and trading venues to provide solutions for institutional traders.
Rob Flatley, managing director of Electronic Trading Services (ETS) at Banc of America, said the integration of ETS product integration with Reuters will allow users to easily carry out algorithmic trading strategies in an anonymous and fully electronic fashion.
Banc of America Securities’ ETS group was launched in January 2004 in an attempt to develop and deliver a growing suite of electronic trading products designed to satisfy a range of institutional trading objectives.
