Earthlink Network Inc, the internet service provider that first said it would, and then said it wouldn’t run out of cash by the end of the year (CI No 3,226), may get a cash injection from one of the Baby Bell regional telephone operating companies. Business Week says that one of the Bells is planning to take a stake of between 5% and 10%.
