ERP vendor Baan Co NV has announced a suite of web-enabled enterprise software applications – a set of buzzword-friendly wrappers for its prosaic supply chain and procurement product line. Baan E-Sales, Baan E-Collaboration and Baan E-Procurement will be generally available from June 1999. E-Sales is designed to enable unassisted internet sales. E-Collaboration is an XML- based supply-chain collaboration system and E-Procurement is an intranet-based procurement system for Baan ERP.
