Baan International BV has terminated the licensing agreement it had with the Ask Group for its Triton Unix-based manufacturing software, since Ask was taken over by Computer Associates International Inc: the deal allowed Ask to ship its own version of the Baan software as ManMan/X, but the Islandia, New York company’s founder and chief executive Charles Wang reportedly believes that the company has source code rights and declares that the product itself is safe.
