Dutch enterprise resource planning company Baan Co NV is to establish a new business unit to deal with the financial, accounting and resource sectors. Baan Corporate Office Solutions will offer software from its recent acquisition of UK financial software house Coda Group Plc, which it paid $86.6m for (CI No 3,354). The new division will be headed by Andrew Nash, who comes from Deloitte and Touche Consulting Group, one of Baan’s implementation partners, after Coda chief operating officer, Robert Brown decided to jump ship to pursue other opportunities.
