British Airways Plc has awarded a contract to supply satellite communications systems for its fleet of long-haul aircraft to a the Racal-Honeywell Satcom joint venture: the system costs $250,000 per unit and the contract was estimated by Racal Electronics Plc to be for at least 90 of British Airways’ aircraft.
