Singapore multimedia outfit company Aztech Systems Ltd has settled claims with its competitor Creative Technology in a suit filed in Singapore, reports Reuters. Aztech said in a statement that given market changes and Asia’s economic crisis, further litigation was not a good use of resources for either company. Singapore’s Court of Appeal ruled in November 1996 that Aztech infringed the copyright of Creative’s eight-bit sound card software. Aztech said the terms of the settlement would not be disclosed but both parties were satisfied.
