Aztech Systems Ltd, principal local rival to Creative Technology Ltd, is to form a $2.9m joint venture with Fincitec Components Oy of Finland that will design and supply custom made chip sets and products for personal computer multimedia and wireless communication. The Singapore company will hold 80% and Fincitec will contribute technology and design tools in return for 20%.
