France’s third-largest software and services company, Axime SA, announced a net loss equivalent to $17.03m, after $7.5m in restructuring costs, for the fiscal year ended June 30. The Paris company, which has suffered from the tightening of budgets in the banking and financial sector, nevertheless achieved a profit of $18.5m after an operating loss of $15.42m last time. A report in La Tribune says that Axime, a subsidiary of Banque Paribas, needs a rights issue to recapitalise, as its debt amounts to $114.58m and its equity base is only $30.21m.
