AVM Telecom Ltd, a Londonderry, Northern Ireland-based unit of AVM Computersysteme GmbH of Germany, has launched a PC Card ISDN controller. Called the AVM ISDN PCMCIA A Controller, it provides two ISDN B-channels offering data transfer rates of up to 128Kbps and is said to be compatible with all major laptop brands. The product is also said to support the Common ISDN Application Programmer’s Interface. It is available now and costs ú475.
