Tewksbury, Massachusetts-based Avid Technology Inc warns it expects results for the third quarter 1996 to include one-time charges of about $9m and expects to report a loss for the quarter of about $0.32 to $0.37 a share. The company said the charges were related to its decision not to release the Avid Media Spectrum product line. Excluding the one-time charges, Avid said it expects to report a loss in the range of $0.04 to $0.09 a share. It expects to report revenue of about $115m for the quarter.
