Consumer and OEM software developer for mobile devices, Avanquest Mobile Technologies has released Mobile Alert and Mobile Call Blocker applications.
The new additions to its myMobile Companion services will help in protecting mobile users, their devices and data.
Mobile Alert features one button automatic connection to local responders, even if the user is outside his or her own country, notifies the person specified and transmits the user’s location and also displays critical information, such as allergies and medical conditions, to responders.
Mobile Call Blocker provides complete control over all incoming calls and text messages through customisable rules.
It also prompts the user to determine how to handle the call or message, when there is not a perfect match and this is stored for future use. All calls and text messages are logged and can be reviewed later.
The new applications are available to operators, OEMs, and resellers individually or as part of the myMobile Companion suite, and each can be customised.
In addition to Mobile Alert and Mobile Call Blocker, other products in the myMobile Companion suite include Mobile Backup, Mobile Lockout, Mobile Transfer, Mobile Protect, Mobile Safe Kids, and Mobile Safe Driving.
