Autodesk Inc of Sausalito, California has reorganised into a new operational structure comprising five business units that integrate technical and marketing activities along product lines: the company says that the reorganisation will cause no lay-offs and it is expected to result in some expansion in Autodesk’s North American work force this year; initially the divisions are the AutoCAD Business Unit, the Retail Products Business Unit, a Multimedia Business Unit, the Molecular Modelling Unit, and the Information Business Unit.
