Autodesk believes that Compass technology will help it to offer software that will enable customers to accelerate information exchange and share design data.

Autodesk pays $17m for Compass
Product Lifecycle Management vendor Autodesk is paying 13m euros ($17m) to buys the assets of Compass systems GmbH, a Karlsfeld, Germany design management company which claims 20,000 users in 1,800 manufacturing companies use its design management software.
