AUTODESK ACQUIRES 80% OF XANADU

Autodesk Inc is wildly excited at its tie-up with the originator of the concept of hypertext, Ted Nelson, via the acquisition of 80% of his company Xanadu (CI No 906): Xanadu was originally a project Nelson launched to create his new way of viewing and comparing data without the restrictions of current file systems and his dream is eventually to create a global library accessible by all types of computers searchable with hypertext.
