Sausalito, California-based Autodesk Inc’s Multimedia Division is shipping Autodesk 3D Studio Release 2: the upgrade to the professional three-dimensional modelling, rendering and animation package for 80386 and 80486-based personal computers adds new visualisation tools and productivity enhancements there are over 100 new and enhanced features including 200% to 600% faster rendering and a Video Post production module and Boolean operators; it costs $3,000 and comes with a CD-ROM with over 500Mb of objects, textures and animations.
