Dot Hill Storage, a storage solutions and SAN services company, has entered into a supply agreement with Autodesk Inc., a leading 3D design and entertainment software vendor.

Autodesk will now integrate Dot Hill’s AssuredSAN 3000 Series 8Gb Fibre Channel as part of Autodesk’s turnkey solution for 3D visual effects and finishing.

The AssuredSAN 3000 Series is equipped witn eco-friendly enhancements and 595-watt 80 PLUS-rated power-supplu for energy efficiency and reduced operating costs.

Autodesk, floated in 1982 with its flagship AutoCAD software, continues to develop design and simulation softwares used in entertainment industry, notable being Autodesk Flame and Autodesk Flame Premium.
