Autodesk launches new design and creation suites 2013

The 2013 design suites connect the desktop to Autodesk 360

Design software firm Autodesk has launched its 2013 design portfolio which includes the new design and creation suites.

The new suites incorporate expanded toolsets and new automated suites workflows for building, entertainment, engineering, construction, infrastructure, product, plant and factory design.

The 2013 design suites connect the desktop to Autodesk 360 and this cloud computing platform provides additional cloud storage and the ability to access cloud services for rendering, simulation, design optimisation and energy analysis.

Subscription customers can now have up to 25 MB of storage and between 100 and 500 Autodesk Cloud Units per user, based on the suite edition they purchased, the company said.

The new set of suites include in-product workflows and improved interoperability that connects design and visualisation tasks .

The 2013 family of Autodesk design suites includes AutoCAD Design Suite, Building Design Suite, Entertainment Creation Suite, Factory Design Suite, Infrastructure Design Suite, Plant Design Suite and Product Design Suite.
