Under this agreement, Lincare will implement Trac Medical Solutions’ (TracMed) CareCertES, a Web-based solution that aims to automate and accelerate the process of securing and authenticating electronic healthcare forms.
While financial terms weren’t disclosed, TracMed will expect to generate revenue through monthly license and transaction fees, which will largely be impacted by physician adoption.
A fully HIPAA compliant electronic solution, CareCert processes electronic Certificates of Medical Necessity (eCMNs) and Written Orders. Electronic files created through CareCert are sealed with the US Electronic Postmark(R) (USPS EPM(R)).
