AUSTRALIA’S SOFTWAY WINS SUN OEM DEAL

Sun Microsystems Inc has signed an OEM deal with Sydney, Australia-based Softway Pty to use its Share II software with Sun servers. Share II is a resource management tool which shares CPUs, memory, disk space and Unix processes among users an applications, where multiple applications reside on a single server. Share II can also be applied to batch processing. It will be out in the first half of next year directly from Sun or through resellers and integrators.
