In addition to the $6m in equity investment from Fuji Xerox Co Ltd and Nissho Electronics Corp (CI No 1,463), Unix server builder Auspex Systems Inc reckons that the deals with the two companies will bring it $6m in licensing fees: Fuji Xerox is authorised to use Auspex’s technology to manufacture and distribute the products under its own name in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
