Server builder Auspex Systems Inc put up its chief financial officer, Esther Lee, who told the conference here that second quarter sales of $20.4m had been disappointing, but that she expected growth to resume in the current quarter. Second quarter revenue growth stalled but we expect it to resume this quarter both sequentially and quarterly, by about 10% over the second quarter she said. She attributed the flat first quarter sales to late receipt of some orders and a drop-off in European sales. Looking ahead, she said that Auspex will be working to keep costs under control, but will make selective investments in areas such as research and development.
