The massive, multi-level, multi-site stands of Nixdorf Computer AG and Siemens AG would have dominated any other computer trade show but CeBIT ’88 in Hannover, where Hall 1 alone appears to be considerably larger than the whole of Birmingham’s NEC, without considering the 12 additional halls spread across the vast exhibition grounds.
