Audi now relies on WebSphere Portal to create a central platform that allows all work and business processes to be handled without re-entering data or switching from one medium to another, thus making these processes quicker and more efficient. In addition to accessing business applications, employees can now utilize personalized desktops through the portal platform, allowing them to perform administrative tasks such as applying for time off or booking flights.
