AT&T Co’s AT&T Paradyne unit has two new product lines, the Comsphere global data communications architecture to unify the company’s various modem lines and provide a network management system to encompass all existing and future data communications products; and the Pixnet-XL channel extension and communications products for IBM mainframes, which is claimed to offer significant price and performance improvements over the company’s current products; they ship next quarter in the US and are being submitted this year for type approval in Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Canada, the Far East, Australasia and Latin America; no prices were given for the new kit.
