ATTATCHMATE SELLS CONNECTOR SOFTWARE TO CDS

Attachmate Corp announced Wednesday that Control Data Systems Inc has purchased the Extra Connector software for IBM Profs/OfficeVision, which allows Microsoft Exchange Server clients to schedule meetings and exchange e-mail with Profs and OfficeVision mainframe users. As part of the purchase, Control Data will acquire the source code for the Extra Connector, handle sales and marketing for the product and support the current installed base.
