AtTask has changed its company name to Workfront, in order to better convey the nature of the solutions it provides.
Founded in 2001, CEO Eric Morgan commented: ""Simply stated, we have outgrown the AtTask name. The company was founded in 2001 and has evolved significantly since then. We now have over 500 employees, and more than 1,000 clients.
"We are solving complex work management problems for companies such as Cisco, Comcast, Food and Drug Administration, House of Blues, and REI and we needed a name that conveyed the enterprise power of the solutions we deliver."
Growth under Morgan has seen the company post three-year CAGR at 42%, with the company recently securing $50 million in venture capital funding.
Morgan added: "The name Workfront just made sense to tell the story of what we do. And the lion mark that is part of the logo is symbolic of the power our solution brings to our customers."
The now named Workfront offers enterprise work management solutions as a SaaS provider, and has been recognised as a leader in the Gartner 2014 Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based IT Project and Portfolio Management Services.
