A Molotov cocktail was thrown into one of Siemens AG’s office buildings in Munich on Monday night in an attack apparently linked to the G7 summit in the German city, Reuter reports: several computers were destroyed in the attack and police estimated the damage at around $65,000; after a similar attack on a Munich bank early on Monday, police found a note saying World economic summit – attack; left-wing groups accuse the Group of Seven leading industrial nations of exploiting the developing world and are holding their own alternative summit in the Bavarian capital.
