Despite promises in the first quarter of this year (CI No 2,837), Attachmate Corp has announced it will introduce Emissary Host Publishing System in the next fortnight. The system promises to enable firms to ‘Web-deploy’ any kind of IBM Corp data to give users easy access to corporate information via any kind of Web browser. It supports Microsoft Corp’s ActiveX Controls, which automatically converts applications developed using Attachmate’s QuickApp and quickDB into HyperText Mark-up Language.
