AT&T Co is joining the rush to offer telecommunications facilities management for multinational customers and has signed J P Morgan & Co of New York as one of the first customer’s for the service: AT&T has a three-year contract under which it will install and manage a high-speed network that connects the bank’s existing local computer networks on four continents; the value of the contract is about $8m and many of the services are being provided by the AT&T-Istel Ltd arm.
